Currently a very popular class, the Professional Roman blinds course offers a contemporary solution to a window treatment whilst still providing privacy when required. Students will be able to make a blind to fit a window over the two days
Detailed tuition from a qualified tutor will be given on the construction of a lined Roman Blind and practical demonstrations of the process of making up. The mandatory regulations on blinds will also be covered
Both the folded and cascade blind calculations will be taught to ensure students leave with a full understanding of the various ways these window treatments can be utilised.
Participants will be guided in the use of profiles (available to buy).
Linings etc are included in the making up of a Roman Blind to ensure current safety legislation is adhered to. Students may bring their own fabrics to create a bespoke piece.
