This one day course introduces you to the art of restoration in its many forms. And dont worry, if you piece needs extra work we are putting on additional days where you can continue the revival of that special piece

Running on a Wednesday evening, come along to work on any soft furnishing project you have. Great for those who want to make curtains for the home or as a commission with plenty of cutting space for each student and all the equipment to hand. The course will be run termly but do contact us even if the term has begun. We start at 5.30pm and finish at 8.30pm

LEARN THE ART OF CANING WITH NETTY 10am to 5pm MONDAY 7th APRIL
Spend a summers day creating cane patterns with Netty - Netty has an abundance of experience in caning and happily divulges her vast knowledge of the subject
Everything is provided and you will leave with a sample board of cane patterning and notes
Students wishing to continue from this will be able to register for our upcoming caning course on chairs
This course is suitable for beginners or those wishing to refresh

A comprehensive introduction to weaving using a 4 shaft loom, allowing students to engage in weave experimentation. Throughout the course, you will gain hands-on experience in warping and dressing the loom, which are essential skills for any aspiring weaver. We will guide you through the parts of the loom, ensuring a thorough understanding of how each component functions to create beautiful textile patterns.
