Beginners Hand Embroidery Monday with July 1st with Trudi
Spend a creative day with Trudi learning a number of hand stitches using stranded cotton

BOX CUSHIONS - two day Thursday 25th & Friday 26th July
Box cushions can be tricky but this two day course will guide you through the steps with enough time to create a box cushion with piping and a lapped zip. You will be shown how to make, apply and join piping perfectly (no lumps), match corners and insert a zip. Bring 1 metre of fabric and create a sample size box cushion to take away or if you need to make a bespoke size get in touch to check fabric amounts.
This course is suitable for those who are competent on the sewing machine
2 day Curtain course Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th July 2024
A great introduction into the world of bespoke curtain making where you will create a hand headed lined curtain.
The course will cover a range of hand stitches required to make a 1 metre sample curtain with a number of headings.
Calculating for fabric, including pattern repeats, will be included along with the process of pleat creation
You will need 1 metre of fabric and everything else will be provided
This course is suitable for beginners

LAMPSHADES - Monday 15th & Tuesday 16th April 2024 A TWO DAY COURSE
Join us for two days to create a bespoke lampshade. We will be guiding you through the processes of binding and then hand stitching to the frame. Your lampshade will then be lined and again stitched to the frame
Finishing off will include a self binding or trim
Frames and sundries provided, you just need to bring along 1 metre of fabric of your choice and 1.5 metres trim if you wish
Class starts at 10am until 5pm

LEARN THE ART OF CANING WITH NETTY 10am to 5pm dates to be announced
Spend a summers day creating cane patterns with Netty - Netty has an abundance of experience in caning and happily divulges her vast knowledge of the subject
Everything is provided and you will leave with a sample board of cane patterning and notes
Students wishing to continue from this will be able to register for our upcoming caning course on chairs
