A great introduction to soft furnishing if you are a beginner, a great space to work if you have experience.
Your tutor will be Maggi who has been working and teaching in the Soft Furnishing arena for over 40 years.
Places are limited to allow space for students to work on their own cutting table
You will be advised on the best kind of fabrics for your project, supported with all equipment and provided the opportunity to work at your own pace.
All ongoing work can be stored with us so there's packing up your project every week

Create your own elegant bow empire lampshade in this hands-on workshop. You’re welcome to bring your own fabric, or choose from our carefully curated selection designed specifically for this project.
Throughout the session, you’ll learn how to construct a fully lined lampshade, shape the classic empire silhouette, and add a beautifully styled bow detail. We’ll also guide you through techniques for achieving a refined, professional finish along both the top and bottom edges of your shade.
